The bible is very clear.
Isaiah 9:6 confirms for us EXACTLY who the Father of our spirit is: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
So let's make sure we have this right.. It states very plainly in Isaiah that JESUS IS OUR FATHER.
We are "of the same essence" as Jesus, the Father of OUR spirit. Burning within each of us is a deathless spirit flame that was "begotten". This spirit shares one very important characteristic with its father - they are both ETERNAL, ongoing, deathless beings.
I will never cease to proclaim - JESUS IS THE FATHER OF MY SPIRIT, and yours too. Hopefully, if you fell into the trap of calling Jesus your BROTHER, then you can quickly get up and out of that flaming pit!!!
"... submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Heb 12:9
"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn. Isa 51:1
You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth. Deut 32:18
Care to do a little word study to fill in a few details?
"You deserted the Rock, who fathered you" - Strongs # 3205 - to bear young, birth, bring forth, beget. "you forgot the God who gave you birth - Strongs # 2342 - twist, twirl in spiral motion, writhe in pain, bring forth.
Or how about Zech 12:1 "The LORD, who forms the spirit of man within him" - Strongs # 3335 - squeezed into shape. From observation we can see that a normal full grown human is between 5 and 6 feet tall. This verse in Zech, when read with the correct understanding of the words involved, gives us the thought of a "full sized spirit" being "shoehorned" or "squeezed into a 20" inch long baby.
Again it must be emphasized that if a magician God you desire to have tickle your ears, then so be it. But if TRUTH you desire, then look to the CENTRAL PATTERN that our Father has conformed all to; the things we see on earth are a reflection of that which is the reality, in heaven.
Yes, the spiritual toddler loves to puff out his chest and boast about his "magician God". NO FEAT IS TOO SMALL FOR THIS GOD - everywhere at the same moment, hears every thought that is thought by every human on earth, created all of the known universe in 6 - 24 hour periods of time, and during the "Tonight Show" He snaps His fingers many times as He brings forth a fresh virgin spirit! It doesn't matter that none of these wonderful feats are really in the bible!!! The bottom line is that for a mere tithe of your income, you too can procure the FAVORS of this great magician - actually put Him in your very own pocket.
Your interest, and tithe is all of the support that a good "ear tickler" needs...
